Who is Lestrado?

So you’re wondering what’s up with the icon?
And why I keep saying No es mi división!?

Then I shall tell you the story. The story of Geraldo Lestrado.

Basically when The Reichenbach Fall came to pass, the Sherlock fandom as always went mad. You can’t really blame us.
Eventually multiple gifs emerged of Lestrade’s now famous line “Not our division.” and it became some what of an instant meme in the Sherlock fandom. Good times were had for all.
Then one day the great Cait of moriarteas began telling the people of Omegle that everything was Not my division - GL and she began a six hour spree that would get hundreds of Sherlockians swarming Omegle, and nothing was their division.

I joined in this endless fun (endless, seriously) and eventually my obsession with turning everything Spanish lead me to start saying No es mi división. - GL and much to my amusement I got this response from one lovely fan. (If that’s you, message me!)

And so, Geraldo Lestrado was born…

Nothing is his division, and nothing ever will be.
